Since Wednesday, September 18 morning, Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli were all over the internet for their friendly interaction ahead of the first Test against Bangladesh starting Thursday. The teaser of the entire interview went viral on social media within minutes, and the cricketing fraternity got a hot topic to sip with their morning tea.

The conversation between Gambhir and Kohli in a video released by BCCI was filled with joy, laughter, memories and mutual appreciation towards each other’s game. When the chat neared its end, Gambhir revealed that the next guest he will be speaking to is the Indian skipper Rohit Sharma. Furthermore, the head coach asked if there were any questions Virat had for Rohit.

Virat’s simple but hilarious question for the Nagpur-born got the duo bursting out into laughter.

Here is the outro conversation between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir on Rohit Sharma:

Gambhir: The next guest will be Rohit (Sharma). So what do you want me to ask (to Rohit)? What should be the first question to him?

Kohli: I think its a very simple question for Rohit ki subah bheege huye badaam khaate ho ya nahi (If he eats soaked almonds every morning, laughs)

Gambhir: Subah gyaarah baje ki jagah raat ke gyarah baje? (Morning 11, or evening?)

Kohli: Haa dekhna, kahi AM ka PM na ho jaaye (Yes please check if its 11 am or pm, both laugh). So this would be the question for you Rohit.

The knock against Pakistan in the Asia Cup is the best ever by an Indian: Gambhir on Kohli’s 183

“I saw you making your debut. Played a really good, important knock in the Champions Trophy in South Africa (England) on a tricky wicket against West Indies, against a really good attack, and then probably the best one-day innings that an Indian has played. Not purely based on a point of view, because guys have got double hundreds,” Gambhir told Kohli.

Those are really special things and most importantly, how you have taken Indian cricket forward, the legacy that you have left for the next generation to follow,” he added.
