Sri Lanka and Pakistan will both meet each other final two-match Test series at Sinhalese Sports Club, in Colombo, on July 24, 2023. Pakistan will be heading into the second Test match with a 1-0 lead over Sri Lanka in the series. They won the first Test Match by four wickets thanks to an excellent batting Performance from Saud Shakeel. Shakeel scored 208 and 30 runs and he was awarded the player of the match. Pakistan will be looking to win the match and wrap up the series with a complete whitewash.

While on the other hand, Sri Lanka will look to bounce back from the first match defeat for a series equaliser. Dhananjaya de Silva who scored a century in the first innings (122) and 82 in the second Innings, will be looking to continue his form to help his side avoid the whitewash. This will be the first Test match played at Sinhalese Sports Club since 2018.
