The third edition of the Saurashtra Premier League (SPL) 2023 will begin on Thursday, June 15. With two fantastic seasons already having been held, fans could be in for yet another sensational showing from the franchises when the tournament gets underway soon.

It is also worth noting that every match of the tournament will be played at 7:00 p.m. IST, and every match will be played at the Saurashtra Cricket Association (SCA) Stadium in Rajkot. Furthermore, the five franchises competing in the tournament will be playing in a format that is sort of like that of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The five teams will take on each other in a round-robin format, with the top two teams in the league stages, facing off in the summit clash of the competition on June 24.

There are many big names who will be looking to make an impact in the tournament when it gets underway. Halar Heroes will be coming into the competition looking to defend the title that they won in sensational fashion in 2022.

The season opener of the SPL 2023 sees Halar Heroes taking on Gohilwad Gladiators at the SCA stadium, in Rajkot, on June 15. Heroes will be led by Arpit Vasavada, whereas Prerak Mankad will be leading Gladiators throughout the competition.

Following the two sensational seasons, it would be interesting to see which two teams manage to stay at the top by the end of the league stages and make it to the SPL 2023 final, where they face off for the coveted title.
