South Africa would be aiming to salvage a victory in the third and final ODI of the series against Pakistan, to be played at The Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on Sunday, December 22.

The series opener was a tightly-fought battle between the sides, which the visitors ultimately won by three wickets with as many deliveries to spare. The second game was won by Pakistan in a much more dominating fashion though. 

With that, South Africa lost their second ODI series on home soil against Pakistan since 2021. They will aim to end the series on a positive note.
