Indian pacer Siddarth Kaul recently announced his arrival in English county cricket with a sensational performance on debut for Northamptonshire against Gloucestershire. The 33-year-old right-arm pacer finished with stunning figures of 5/76 from 29 overs to bundle out the visitors for 409 in the first innings at Northampton.
Though Kaul represented India across formats between 2018-2019, appearing in three ODIs and three T20Is, his international career never really took off. He was however a consistent performer in the IPL, picking up 58 wickets in 54 matches with a best of 4/29.

Kaul ends with figures of 5/76
Kaul’s most prolific IPL season came in 2018 when he took 21 wickets at an economy of 8.28. His performances earned him a Northamptonshire contract for the 2024 County Championship season.
On a flat Northampton deck, Kaul extracted immense movement with the Dukes ball to run through the Gloucestershire batting line-up. He struck at crucial intervals, first removing opener Cameron Bancroft for 53.
