Star power couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma celebrated their seventh wedding Anniversary on Wednesday, December 11. The couple have been the centre of attraction as Anushka is seen attending the cricket matches to cheer her husband. The duo shared a memorable moment recently when Virat smashed his 81st Ton in Perth and the former India captain looked up to his wife and acknowledged the applause.
It is worth noting that the duo got hitched in a private ceremony in Tuscany, Italy, in 2017. They are blessed with a baby girl, named Vamika and a son named, Akaay. Virat, who has been associated with the Royal Challengers Bengaluru(RCB) since the franchise’s inception, received a heartfelt message from the franchise’s official social media handle.
“Serving couple goals ft. Virushka. Wishing a very happy wedding anniversary to the power couple, Anushka and Virat. Here’s to many more beautiful years together, and may you continue to inspire each other and the rest of the world!” RCB wrote on their official Instagram handle.

After scoring the hundred in Perth in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT 2024-25), the 36-year-old credited his wife for staying by his side in times of ups and downs. For the unversed, it took over one year for Virat Kohli to take his century tally from 80 to 81 across formats.

“I take pride in performing for my country. The fact that she is here makes it even more special for me. Yeah, Anushka has been right by my side through thick and thin. So, she knows everything that goes on behind the scenes. What goes on the head when you don’t play as well or make a few mistakes. I just want to contribute to the team’s cause, I am not a guy who wants to hang around just for the sake of it,” Kohli said after the game.
