Star India wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson has been in the limelight yet again, albeit, for a non-cricketing yet special reason. Samson who recently slammed a terrific century for the Men in Blue is also renowned for his quirky humorous persona as well. For the unversed, today, October 19, happens to be the birthday of Charulatha Remesh, who is the better half aka the wife of Samson.
In the same vein, the Kerala-based cricketer took to his social media to benevolently wish her on her special day but with a cricketing twist. In what was a heart-melting yet meaningful and funny post, Samson showed his appreciation for Charulatha being there in his ups and downs constantly on the rollercoaster journey of life. Notably, Rajasthan Royals’ Captain, while captioning his post gave a subtle IPL (Indian Premier League) touch. Consequently, this left the fans in awe and in splits at the same time.

Samson-Charulatha got married in 2018
Meanwhile, speaking of their association, the renowned star cricket couple got hitched on December 22, in the year 2018. It is worth mentioning that they got married at the iconic Kovalam of Kerala. It is worth mentioning that Sanju Samson has surely hit the right chord when it comes to balancing out professional and personal life by taking out time to wish Charulatha. The key reason behind it has been the fact that Samson remains quite engrossed with his year-round cricket schedule and national duties for Team India.

Currently, Samson is representing Kerala while playing against Karnataka in the ongoing Ranji Trophy 2024 season. At the time of writing the prolific batter was batting unbeaten on 15 runs off 13 balls with Kerala looking steady with 160/3 on the board after 50 overs. Earlier, Sanju Samson smashed 111 runs off just 47 balls against Bangladesh in Hyderabad. As a result, it turned out to be a match-winning knock for Team India along with Samson becoming the second-quickest Indian batter to slam a T20I century.
