Delhi-born pacer, Mayank Yadav, made his Indian Premier League debut for the Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2024. However, he could feature in only four games as a lower abdominal strain ruled him out for the entirety of the tournament.

After a few months of resting, he made his return to the nets at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. Slowly but surely, he recuperated from his injury, and was finally recieved his maiden call-up by India as he has been drafted in T20I squad for the three-match series against Bangladesh.

Following the national selection, there has been a lot of chatter around the tearaway quick making his debut in Gwalior. Meanwhile, a screenshot displaying Google’s feed of the roster of LSG was recently uploaded by the official account of LSG on X, with the entire focus being on Yadav’s name, which had “right-arm medium fast bowler” mentioned against it.

The caption was clearly suggestive to what LSG wanted to imply, itaking a light-hearted dig over the omnipresent search engine for undermining the raw pace of the youngster. The meme which was linked to the screenshot was used as a medium to convey annoyance from the end of Mayank, who was morphed in the place of the original person from the original reference.
