Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have roped in Omkar Salvi as the new bowling coach for the IPL 2025. He is currently associated with Mumbai as head coach and it was under his guidance, that the Ajinkya Rahane-led side won the Ranji Trophy and later Irani Cup. He has enormous experience and understands domestic cricket well, which will help Bengaluru immensely. Meanwhile, before the Mumbai job, Salvi has also worked with the Knight Riders franchise.
RCB has retained the duo of Andy Flower and Mo Bobat and announced Dinesh Karthik as the new batting coach earlier in the year. Karthik and Salvi follow domestic cricket very closely and will play a key role in building the team for the upcoming mega-auction, slated to take place on November 24 and 25 in Jeddah.
