Royal Challengers Bengaluru brutally troll Pakistan after home series loss to Bangladesh

Against all odds, it was Pakistan who slumped to a clean sweep against Bangladesh in home conditions in the recently concluded two-match Test series.

The first match saw the visitors stage an immense comeback after Pakistan declared their first innings at 448/6 by establishing a 117-run first innings lead. Pakistan then got shot out for 146 as Bangladesh secured a historic 10-wicket triumph. The second game saw the first day get washed out due to incessant rain.

However, it was Bangladesh who came back into the reckoning after collapsing for 26/6 after dismissing Pakistan for 274 on Day 2 to end up with 262. It was a spirited performance by the pacers which saw the visitors dismantle the hosts for another low third innings score, post which, Bangladesh chased down the 185-run target with comfortable ease.

Meanwhile, a recent social media post put out on X (formerly known as Twitter) by the IPL franchise, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, contained subtle digs aimed at the Pakistani team following their unforeseen series loss which had genuinely surpassed expectations made prior to the commencement of the series.

The graphic had a picture of the Indian Test team, as the caption indicated an inferred comparison between the respective home record of the Pakistan and Indian outfits. While this was Pakistan’s 10th home Test on the trot with them not managing to secure victory, India have held an unblemished record of a 17-Test series winning spree at home which began ever since they defeated Australia in 2013.

“Winning at home isn’t as easy as this team makes it look like,” RCB wrote.
