Romario Shepherd traded from Lucknow Super Giants to Mumbai Indians

West Indies all-rounder Romario Shepherd with four IPL matches under his belt for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), has been traded to the Mumbai Indians (MI) during the IPL trading window for the 2024 season. The transfer involves his current fee of INR 50 lakh. Shepherd’s journey began in 2016 when he marked his domestic debut for Guyana in the Regional Super50 competition. 

His stellar performances immediately put him on the cricketing radar, securing a CPL contract with the Guyana Amazon Warriors. In 2018, he earned a call-up to the West Indies national team. With an impressive T20 record boasting a batting strike rate exceeding 150 and 109 wickets at a remarkable average of 23 across 99 matches, Shepherd has solidified his position in the cricketing world.
