Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli in awe after KL Rahul shovels Shadab Khan over mid-wicket for six

After resumption of play on the reserve day, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul continued to bat from where they left off in the ongoing Super 4 clash between India and Pakistan in Asia Cup 2023. Rahul was batting on 17* when the game resumed and looked more comfortable on the second day. After completing his fifty off 60 balls, Rahul took Pakistan’s leg spinner Shadab Khan to the cleaners.

On a full-pitched ball by the wrist-spinner, Rahul advanced down the track to hit the ball on the leg side. The shot is touted as difficult to play and requires master wrist work. Rahul had no problems whatsoever and made the shot look beautiful. India’s former skipper Kohli, at the non-striker’s end, and skipper Rohit Sharma were left in awe of the Karnataka batter’s wrist work, and their reactions said it all.
