Countless moments of pride, ecstasy, joy, and overwhelming happiness have been witnessed since India ended their trophy drought and secured their first ICC event victory in 11 years. The celebrations have been exuberant, with the Indian team engaging in spirited festivities in the Caribbean, including a memorable night-long party at the Hilton Hotel in Bridgetown, Barbados.
Numerous photos were taken with the trophy, both on the ground after the ceremony and elsewhere, capturing players along with their families and support staff, all celebrating this joyful and triumphant moment for the team. The excitement was palpable, with praise pouring in from all quarters—wives, former players, pundits, and fans. Social media was awash with waves of positivity regarding this achievement.
There was also an indelible instance when skipper Rohit Sharma posted a picture of the trophy on his bedside table, the darkness illuminated by the flash of his phone, revealing his joyous, satisfied expression. In a similar tradition, Suryakumar Yadav and his wife, Devisha Shetty, shared a photo with the trophy placed between them as they lay in bed, symbolizing their joint achievement. Both pictures quickly went viral on social media, generating immense engagement and traction.
