Reports: Chennai Super Kings to enter Women's Premier League

In a momentous development for the cricketing world, the sports division of India Cements and its personnel are poised to join hands with the Chennai Super Kings Cricket Ltd. (CSKCL), as reported by The Economic Times.

The CSKCL board is poised to encompass Rupa Gurunath, daughter of N. Srinivasan and the full-time director of India Cements. Given her extensive engagement in the franchise’s management, she is expected to spearhead forthcoming expansion initiatives.

Gurunath is also contemplating the prospect of the Chennai Super King’s participation in the Women’s Premier League, assessing the financial feasibility and drawing insights from the experiences of the five IPL franchises that were involved this year and the one preceding it.
