During the RCB Unbox event at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, the RCB men’s team gave the Women’s team a Guard of Honour. Smriti Mandhana leading her team pierced the jampacked Chinnaswamy. She was seen holding the trophy as the crowd went berserk.

RCB Unbox event is a yearly affair created by the franchise to unwind with the fans before the taxing two-month affair commences. People from Bengaluru have come in full attendance and the iconic Paul Walker is supposed to perform in front of the Bangalore crowd.

RCB are poised to potentially let go of their name from Bangalore to Bengaluru. The change is a much awaited one as it has got wider appeal within the people of Karnataka. Celebrities such as Shivarajkumar, Kicchha Sudeep, Rishabh Shetty, and Rashmika Mandanna have enticed the public enough regarding the alter in the name.

RCB will commence their season with the inaugural match of IPL 2024 against Chennai Super Kings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, on March 22. It is worth noting that the franchise has never won an IPL trophy, as they have contested for it for 16 long years. They will be aiming to turn the tables this time around and join the ranks of their women counterparts.
