Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will host the Delhi Capitals (DC) at their home in Match No. 24 of IPL 2025. Both teams are currently in the top three of the points table with six points each. DC are currently the only unbeaten team in IPL 2025 while RCB have won three matches out of four. Both teams are coming off wins in their most recent matches.

Interestingly, RCB’s only loss this season has come at their home base of the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. DC, on the other hand, are yet to actually play at their main home. Delhi have played two games at their alternative home ground of Visakhapatnam but will play the other five home games at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. RCB’s last match was a wild see-saw last-over thriller against MI in Mumbai while DC made very light work of CSK in Chennai.

5. Memorable IPL Matches between RCB and DC

In IPL 2013, the two sides had played out a thrilling tie in Bengaluru where RCB prevailed in the Super Over. Virat Kohli had anchored a chase of 153 almost to perfection amidst a collapse, but his dismissal meant RCB ran out of steam and the lower order could only tie it. AB de Villiers hit sixes off the last two balls of the Super Over to take the target to 16 which Ravi Rampaul eventually defended.

At Ahmedabad in 2021, RCB triumphed by just 1 run. AB de Villiers’ explosiveness gave RCB a defendable total after a top order slowdown. DC’s top order started slowly too, but Shimron Hetmyer brought DC back until Mohammed Siraj was tasked with saving six runs off the last ball against Rishabh Pant. Pant only managed four.
