In a gripping encounter at the VCA Stadium, Cheteshwar Pujara showcased his batting prowess, notching up an impressive half-century to reach the milestone of 20,000 first-class runs during the Ranji Trophy third-round clash between Saurashtra and Vidarbha.

In a previous encounter against Jharkhand, Pujara’s insatiable hunger for runs dazzled through as he crafted his 17th double hundred in first-class cricket. Cheteshwar Pujara’s sublime double century in the Ranji Trophy not only marked his eighth in the prestigious tournament but also his 17th in first-class cricket, placing him alongside cricketing stalwarts Herbert Sutcliffe and Mark Ramprakash.
