As the cricketing fraternity thinks about the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL), the season is gearing up for its business end, and a recent twist has added a new flavour to the mix. The tournament, which has been treating fans to thrilling evening games starting at 7 pm PKT, is set to shake things up. The PSL matches are going to kick off under the night sky, commencing at 9 pm PKT.
The official social media handles of the league broke the news, urging fans to adjust their schedules and set their alarms according to the revised match timings. It’s a small change in the clock, but a big one for all the avid followers of the league.

Speaking of the ongoing season, Multan Sultan seem to be enjoying the spotlight, placed at the top of the points table with an impressive six wins in eight matches. They have already secured a spot in the playoffs. Peshawar Zalmi are not far behind from securing their playoff berth with five wins in nine matches.
At the forefront of the run-scoring spectacle is none other than Babar Azam, the star batter, ruling the charts with an astounding 447 runs in eight innings. His average of 63.86 and strike rate of 154.67 make him the real powerhouse of the batting charts. Following closely behind is Rassie van der Dussen, the South African sensation playing for Lahore Qalandars. With 364 runs at an average of 72.80 and a blistering strike rate of 154.89, he’s been a consistent force to be reckoned with.
On the bowling front, the spotlight belongs to Usama Mir from Multan Sultan, who has been wreaking havoc with the ball. Topping the chart with an impressive 18 wickets in eight matches, Mir has been a nightmare for opposition batters so far this season.
