Pakistan and Netherlands will lock horns against each other in match number 2 of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023, at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, on Friday, October 6, 2023. Both teams will be playing their first World Cup Game.

Pakistan will be coming into the contest on the back of the Asia Cup loss, while they lost their two warm-up games as well against Australia and New Zealand. The injury to Naseem Shah cost their bowling balance dearly, which is the reason for the recent failure. Babar &co will rely on the experience of Hasan Ali and would look to start the tournament on a positive note.

The Netherlands, on the other hand, will be coming into the contest on the back of two wash-out warm-up games against India and Australia. The Dutch side has come a long way in this tournament after beating the likes of West Indies Scotland in high-scoring affairs. This young unit will definitely go wild in this tournament and might try to cause a few upsets. Both Pakistan and Netherlands will play each other for the third time in the ODI World Cup history.
