The eighth edition of the exciting Pakistan Super League has come to fag end with only the playoffs remaining. Defending champions Lahore Qalandars and previous edition’s finalists Multan Sultans are set to play the Qualifier in Lahore.
Shadab Khan-led Islamabad United and Babar Azam-led Peshawar Zalmi will face each other in the Eliminator at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The PSL 2023 witnessed the highest team totals, highest successful run-chase and fastest centuries being recorded and previous records being broken.
The top two highest-successful chases were recorded against Peshawar Zalmi in back-to-back games in the league stage. A total of seven centuries were recorded in the Pakistan Super League 2023 wherein four were amassed by overseas players.

Mohammad Rizwan leads the batting chart with 483 runs at an average of 60.38 in as many as 10 innings, and he is followed by Pakistani skipper Babar Azam in the second spot with 416 runs, averaging at 52.00. Imad Wasim takes the third position with 404 runs at a staggering average of 134.67. In the bowling department, Abbas Afridi leads the chart with 22 scalps, and he is followed by 20-year-old speedster Ihsanullah with 20 wickets. Rashid Khan occupies the third place with 15 wickets.

77 – Qais Ahmad conceded 77 runs in his four overs against Sultans. This is the most runs conceded by any bowler in PSL. Shahid Afridi’s had conceded 67 runs against Islamabad United in 2022.
1 – Quetta Gladiators recorded the highest total (253/8) by a team in losing cause.
243 – Multan Sultans pulled off the highest successful run-chase in the history of PSL, bettering the previous best of 241 recorded by Quetta Gladiators against Peshawar Zalmi
17 – Rilee Rossouw’s scored a fifty of 17 balls which is the joint fastest fifty by a batter in PSL. Kamran Akmal, Asif Ali and Hazaratullah Zazai has also scored fifty in 17 balls.
8 – Babar Azam scored his 8th T20 century and became the joint second player to achieve this feat along with Aaron Finch, Michael Klinger and David Warner. Chris Gayle tops the list with 22 hundreds
