The ongoing first Test of the two-match series between Pakistan and Bangladesh is being played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Interestingly, netizens of Pakistan as well as the public in general have been granted free access to the venue by the Pakistan Cricket Board for the Day 4 and Day 5, scheduled for August 24 and 25, respectively.

The decision has been drafted bearing in mind the approaching weekend, allowing families and students to fill up the stadium in maximum numbers to support the Pakistani cricketers as well as witness the action live between the two sides.

The ongoing two-match Test series is part of the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 cycle.

There are two VIP enclosures, namely the Imran Khan and Javed Miandad End, as well as the Premium one. These two have been allocated to families and individuals, respectively. The people interested in watching the match live would be required to bring along their Computerized National Identity C form or the Child Registration Certificate, commonly known as the B-form; both of which are documents that register people as official citizens of Pakistan.

The free entry policy does not apply for the tickets purchased for the PCB Gallery or the Platinum Box.

The supporters having already purchased their tickets for the penultimate and last days will get reimbursed via the payment being reversed to their credit/debit card which was used in the transaction.
