The Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai is easily one of the most iconic venues in the country to play cricket. Over the years, there have been many memorable matches played at the venue, with the first semi-final of the ongoing ODI World Cup being one of them as well.
The Wankhede Stadium also became the venue where ace Indian batter Virat Kohli broke the record of the legendary Sachin Tendulkar and scored his 50th ODI century. As Kohli walked up the stairs of the stadium after being dismissed against New Zealand, the Twitter account of Royal Challengers Bangalore shared a picture of Kohli walking up the stairs and compared it to Sachin walking down them in his final Test match.
