New Zealand women and Australia women are all set to continue their ongoing ODI series. Both sides will lock horns in the third ODI at the Basin Reserve, Wellington, on Monday, December 23. It is worth noting that the first ODI of the series was abandoned without a ball being bowled.

As for the second ODI, the clash was held at the Basin Reserve, Wellington, on December 21. The clash began with Australia women coming in to bat first. The side managed to post a total of 291 runs in the first innings of the game thanks to Annabel Sutherland staying unbeaten on a score of 105 runs, with Alyssa Healy adding 34 runs on the board.

The surface at the Basin Reserve is preferred by the bowlers. A low-scoring thriller could be quite the possibility on such a pitch. Opting to bowl first after winning the toss could be a wise decision.
