Abhay Hadap was elected as the new Secretary of the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) on September 3. In less than 24 hours since the development, MCA has inaugurated its new gym at its Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) facility. The newly renovated state-of-the-art gym will help the cricketers to hone their fitness with well-equipped infrastructure.
The renovated gym will add to the new state-of-the-art indoor stadium that MCA possesses. The stadium has seven retractable nets with video cameras at both the bowler’s and batter’s end to have an insight into detailed skill study. It also has a temperature and humidity-controlled environment to provide simulated climatic conditions.
The gym was inaugurated in the presence of the president, Ajinkya Naik, newly elected Secretary Abhay Hadap, Joint Secretary Deepak Patil, Apex Council member Kaushik Godbole, CIC Chairman Raju Kulkarni, Advisors Milind Rege, and Diana Edulji.
