MS Dhoni received surreal support from fans wherever he played during this year’s IPL. Cricket enthusiasts feared that the stalwart might hang up his boots following the end of the 10-team tournament. However, after guiding CSK to their fifth IPL title, Dhoni said that it would be easy to bid farewell but he will try to stay in shape to play one more season as a gift to all his fans.

The Ranchi-born has been the epitome of calmness throughout his career. His zen-like qualities make him stand out from the rest. On the other hand, Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is known for his never-ending energy and exuberance.

However, a new image of the legendary number seven has gone viral among his fans, where MS Dhoni was spotted in a never seen avatar before. Recently, a picture of the 41-year-old legend surfaced on the internet where he was spotted posing for a photograph alongside his brother and friends in Ranchi. What stood out was Dhoni’s colourful and vibrant outfit.

Consequently, this led to a comparison with the renowned Bollywood actor, Ranveer Singh, who is known for his quirky dressing sense. Following this, the fans were left in splits and they poured love for Dhoni just like they did during the recently concluded Indian Premier League (IPL).

MS Dhoni is recuperating after undergoing successful knee surgery

The CSK skipper played with a knee injury throughout the IPL. His knee was heavily strapped during the tournament but that couldn’t stop him from becoming the joint-most successful IPL captain alongside Rohit Sharma.

When the news broke out, the CSK CEO, Kasi Vishwanathan, informed that Dhoni underwent successful surgery at the Kokilaben Hospital, in Mumbai.

“Yes, Dhoni has had a successful knee surgery at the Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai on Thursday. He is doing fine and the surgery happened in the morning. I don’t have details. I am yet to get all the details about the nature of surgery and other things,” Vishwanathan stated.

There is a lot of time ahead of IPL 2024 and fans will be hopeful of seeing their idol back on the 21 yards once again, next year.
