The surface in Mumbai is an absolute nightmare for the bowlers, with the shorter dimensions of the ground also aiding the batters. The last match at this venue saw the chasing team scale a target in excess of 200 runs with more than three overs to spare.

Strategy and Match-ups:

Both Wriddhiman Saha and Hardik Pandya have struggled against Piyush Chawla. Saha was dismissed thrice against Chawla in 61 balls and scored 100 runs, whereas Hardik Pandya was dismissed twice in 22 balls and scored 46 runs; and hence Rohit Sharma will be tempted to use Chawla against them. Another interesting matchup is between Rohit and Mohammed Shami, where the former has been dismissed twice by the latter in 51 balls and scored 57 runs. Also, the MI skipper was dismissed thrice against Rashid Khan in 21 balls, and he scored 23 runs. This would tempt Pandya to use Shami and Rashid against Rohit.
