Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will take on Mumbai Indians (MI) in match 48 of the 17th edition of the IPL 2024 on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, in Lucknow. In the ongoing tournament, the Super Giants have won five matches and lost four matches so far. They are currently the fifth in the points table, thus, the Super Giants would like to come back to their winning momentum. On the other hand, the Indians have started the season slowly as Indians have won three matches and lost six matches so far. Thus, the Indians also would like to come back to their winning momentum. These two stitched a fantastic partnership of 115 off 61 deliveries which helped Super Giants to post a decent good score of 196. They didn’t get the support from other batters. Speaking of the bowling of Super Giants, Krunal Pandya (4-0-24-0) was economical and bowled beautifully but unable to take the wickets, Super Giants didn’t get support from other bowlers. Super Giants will be hoping all these will continue their good form and good support from other bowlers and batters as well.

Speaking about the last game of the Indians, Tilak Verma 63(32) played magnificent innings which kept the Indians in the game till the final over chasing a huge target of 258. Hardik Pandya 46(24) and Tim David 37(17) played well but they failed to convert their good start to huge match innings knock. Speaking about the bowling, Jasprit Bumrah (4-0-35-1) who bowled beautifully as always and Piyush Chawla (4-0-36-1) also bowled superbly. But they did not get support from other bowlers as all other bowlers conceded runs in more than 10 economy. Indians will be hoping all these will continue their good form and good support from other bowlers and batters, especially top-order batters.
