There was an intense moment between the Lucknow Super Giants owner, Sanjiv Goenka, and KL Rahul that dominated the explore pages of social media. The LSG owner was seen in an animated discussion with skipper Rahul after the team was mercilessly thrashed by Sunrisers Hyderabad. Several fans and pundits condemned the outburst by Goenka, and the businessman has now made amends for his act.
Goenka hosted the LSG opener at a dinner amidst mounting criticism from all corners. Rahul visited the Goenka’s at their home and was seen sharing a warm hug in a video which is doing rounds on social media. For the unversed, the infamous incident of Goenka-Rahul squabble took place after LSG succumbed to SRH on May 8. Chasing the target of 166, SRH cruised to victory in just 9.4 overs and 10 wickets in hand.

LSG eye bump free ride on their way to playoffs
Speaking of LSG’s IPL 2024 prospects, they have accrued 12 points in same number of games with six defeats. They are in contention for the playoff spot, given they win the remaining two matches comprehensively. A loss in any one of the games will see them picking calculators and waiting for other game’s results to go in their favour.
