The Lanka Premier League 2023 is on in full swing as the fans have witnessed breathtaking action in the first 15 matches of the tournament so far. However, the league also made headlines for a bizarre snake appearance during the second game of the season. Recently, the reptile once again made his appearance felt during the 15th match of the season on Saturday, August 12.

During the game between Jaffna Kings and B-Love Kandy at R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo, the cameras spotted a snake moving behind the advertising screens on the boundary during the 18th over of the second innings. Seeing the unwelcome guest, the camerapersons immediately moved away from their place. Meanwhile, former South Africa cricketer Shaun Pollock who was commentating on the game saw the funny side of it and remarked, “Maybe he’s come to take over the job from the camera men.”
