New Delhi, 13 June 2024: The biggest names of Cricket who recently retired like AB de Villiers, Kieron Pollard, Dwayne Bravo, Dawid Malan, and Stuart Broad, amongst others are being targeted by Legends League Cricket to feature in the upcoming season.
After a milestone season in Nov-Dec 2023 with a massive reach of 1.56 billion globally, Legends League Cricket is coming back with its 5th season in September 2024, and the registrations for players are now open. The red carpet will be laid out for the who’s who of the sport as they descend across multiple venues in India and Qatar to entertain their fans, by rolling back the clock.
Following a successful last season in India, which garnered a massive reach of 1.48 billion globally, the upcoming season promises to be even more exciting with six teams set to take center stage. The 2023 season saw participation from 6 Franchises owned by multi-billion dollar groups and Manipal Tigers became champions after defeating Urbanrisers Hyderabad.
The new season aims to bring in new fans to the family of Legends League Cricket, while also attracting a fresh set of players. With over 120 players from nine countries participating last December, Legends League Cricket has now opened its doors for more player participation as the registration window for the player draft is now live. Players can register for the Legends League Cricket through the official website – www.llct20.com. Last year, despite having minimum criteria of having played at least 20 List A games in their respective countries, the registration process saw more than 400 players from 14 countries registering for the Draft pool.

With more participation from across the globe and a star cast of the best cricketers from yesteryears, this time the tournament is getting bigger and better with teams playing across the cities of India and Qatar. This gives our fans an opportunity to watch their favorite stars live and experience world-class cricket in their own cities. The average age of Legends playing at LLC was around 37 years in last season and with Suresh Raina, Irfan Pathan, Aaron Finch, and other star cricketers playing with us, the tournament is definitely attracting a lot of eyeballs,” said Raman Raheja, Co-Founderof Legends League Cricket.
