Legends League Cricket purse increased to INR 60 crore for upcoming season

Legends League Cricket (LLC) has announced a significant increase in the tournament’s purse size to INR 60 crore for the upcoming season. This marks a substantial 25% jump from the previous edition’s INR 48 crore purse. The players in the last two years have earned almost 150 crores playing with Legends League Cricket.

The increase in the purse size underscores the growing popularity and success of the Legends League Cricket, which has emerged as a premier cricketing event featuring some of the greatest names in the sport. With over 600+ players registered for the upcoming season of Legends League Cricket to be held in Sep ’24 across five cities of India.

“The league has grown with each season and the demand for star players is increasing as well. In order to help franchises to create an oomph factor, we are thrilled to announce the 60 crore purse for the upcoming Legends League Cricket season. This increase reflects the immense value and excitement that the league has generated among cricket fans and stakeholders. We are committed to providing our legendary players with the recognition and rewards they deserve,” saidRaman Raheja, Co-Founder of Legends League Cricket.

LLC has witnessed a steady increase in its purse size over the years, with players’ average salary significantly rising. The league has successfully attracted top international and Indian cricketers, who have showcased their talent and experience to the delight of the fans.
