'Koi bhi Masla Virat aur Gambhir nahi' - UP Police uses Virat Kohli-Gautam Gambhir altercation image to promote their helpline number

The heated face-off between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir during Match 43 of IPL 2023 has become the talk of the town and has been one of the most hotly debated topics in the cricketing fraternity. The ugly scuffle between the RCB batter and LSG mentor is trending all over the internet as fans have shown their creative side and made several funny memes out of the viral incident.

 

Jumping on to the bandwagon, UP Police also used the viral image of Gambhir and Kohli having a furious argument on the field to promote awareness about its emergency helpline number 112.

 

UP Police took to Twitter and shared a screenshot of their older Tweet which reads, ‘No matter is ‘Virat’ (big) and ‘Gambhir’ (serious) for us. For any emergency situation, dial 112’ and captioned the post “Refrain from arguments, not from calling us. Dial 112 in case of any emergency.”

Meanwhile, the scuffle between Kohli and Gambhir is being condemned by the entire cricketing fraternity. The duo have been fined 100% of their respective match fees while Naveen-ul-Haq, who also got involved in a verbal spat with Kohli during the game, was fined 50% of his match fee.

 

Notably, Gambhir and Kohli also had an altercation in the 2013 edition of the IPL during a game between RCB and KKR. Both Kohli and Gambhir who were leading their respective teams back then and got involved in a heated exchange after the KKR skipper gave a send-off to Kohli upon his dismissal.

 

RCB defeated LSG by 18 runs

Coming back to the LSG vs RCB game, after opting to bat first, the Faf du Plessis-led side posted 126/9 in their allotted 20 overs with the captain top scoring with his knock of 44 off 40 balls. Naveen-ul-Haq was the pick of the bowlers for LSG as he picked 3/30 in his four-over spell.

 

In reply, LSG were bundled out for 108 in 19.5 overs with Josh Hazlewood (2/15) and Karn Sharma (2/20) picking two wickets each. As a result, RCB won the match by 18 runs and registered their fifth win of the season.
