Former India cricketer Irfan Pathan took a dig at Pakistan after their embarrassing loss in the ongoing Asia Cup. The 38-year-old often cracks multiple jokes after a bad performance from Pakistan and Monday was no different. After India’s emphatic win by 228 runs, Pathan took to Twitter and stated that the neighbours might even break their phones after such a dismal performance from the Babar Azam-led side.
“Khamoshi chaai hui hai kaafi. lagta hai padosiyo ne Tv ke sath sath mobile bhi tod diye hai,” Pathan tweeted.

India outclass Pakistan in ‘2-day’ ODI
When it comes to the match, the Indian team has ticked all the boxes. Batting first, Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma gave a perfect start, taking on Pakistan’s pacers, who have done a good job against them in the past. Both the openers hit a half-century each and that set the tone of the game. However, due to rain, the umpires were forced to call off the day and the match was shifted to the reserve day.
On Monday, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul showed their class. Both cricketers looked flawless and hit a century each to help India post 356 runs on board. Kohli particularly started the innings slowly but accelerated well towards the end. He hit 122 runs off 94 deliveries and with that, the 34-year-old has also completed 13,000 runs in ODI cricket. KL Rahul, on the other hand, made his long-awaited return and proved that he is ready for the upcoming ODI World Cup. He smacked 111 runs off 106 deliveries.
When it came to the chase, Pakistan lost a few quick wickets. Ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah picked up the wicket of Imam-ul-Haq while Hardik Pandya dismissed Babar Azam. Later on, Shardul Thakur sent Mohammad Rizwan back to the pavilion and hence, the Men in Green were under tremendous pressure right from the start. Kuldeep Yadav too joined the party later on and absolutely decimated the middle order, picking up a fiver-for. Hence, this performance will give India a lot of confidence in the coming times.
