It was another eventful day on social media as former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh posted a picture of him after casting his vote in the Indian general elections. Similarly, former cricketer and expert Aakash Chopra urged citizens to go out and vote. He also had another message for them. Check out his tweet below.
Internationally, a big news to come out today was from Chris Woakes who revealed the reason why he has been absent from professional cricket. Former Pakistan player Salman Butt tweeted, saying what exact speed counts as “genuine pace” for him. Muhammad Nawaz had birthday wishes for his teammate Mohammed Rizwan and likewise, Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar wished his former teammate Dinesh Karthik a happy birthday too.

Last day of voting. The biggest elections in the history of mankind.
Hope you’ve contributed in this…if you don’t exercise your democratic franchise, I don’t think you will have the right to preach and complain later.
Every vote counts. Do your bit.

No more diving catches, but plenty of catchy insights! As you transition into a career in commentary, I hope your words go the distance, much like your sixes did.
Happy birthday, @DineshKarthik!
