As England gear up to take on Ireland for a one-off Test ahead of the Ashes series, the Ben Stokes-led side announced their line-up for their clash against the Andrew Balbirnie-led side.
England announced the name of 25-year-old Josh Tongue in their squad to take on Ireland, and as the pacer gears up to make his debut for the national team, one of his family friends, Tim Piper, who is a pub landlord, is set to win £50,000 after backing Tongue to be a future England cricketer when he was just 11 years old.
