Recently, Chahal was seen hilariously proposing to his Rajasthan Royals teammate Jos Buttler. Chahal called Buttler the ‘love of his life’ and asked him to go out on a date with him.
In a video shared by the Rajasthan Royals’ social media handles, Chahal can be seen holding a small flower pot as he plays with Buttler’s daughter, who’s being held by her father. After being asked to say louder, Chahal goes on to say, “Jos Bhai, you’re the love of my life. While I met you last year, My heart began beating fast. And every night I just see you, I feel you. Will you go on a date with me please?”.
Listening to the proposal, Buttler answers, “I will, yes, Yuzi for sure.” The adorable moment was also loved by the people around, who began clapping.
Yuzvendra Chahal is once again having a great season playing for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2023. The wrist spinner is the joint second-highest wicket-taker of the season so far, with 11 wickets to his name from six matches at an average of 18. The 32-year-old also surpassed Lasith Malinga in the ongoing season to become the second-highest wicket-taker in the history of IPL with 177 wickets to his name.

Chahal is now just six wickets behind Dwayne Bravo, who holds the top spot with 183 scalps. In the upcoming matches, the Haryana-born spinner is likely to claim the top spot. Chahal was the purple cap winner in the 2022 edition, having scalped 27 wickets in the season.
Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals are having a good tournament as they are ranked at the top of the points table with four wins out of six matches. They faced their second loss in their last fixture against Lucknow Super Giants on Wednesday, April 19.
Chasing a target of 155, RR were restricted to 144/6 in their allotted 20 overs and lost the match by ten runs. They will next face Royal Challengers Bangalore on Sunday, April 23, at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.
