The quartet is featured in the prestigious list of the ‘100 Most Powerful Indians’ in terms of the impact they have created in Indian cricket. Notably, the IE 100 Power List, published on an annual basis by The Indian Express, ranks the 100 most powerful individuals and leaders from the nation from various factors such as sports, business, politics, and entertainment, to name a few.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India congratulated the three cricketers and Shah, the former secretary of the administrative body, on their social media handles. The comments section has been attracting a lot of support of late. Interestingly, Shah was ranked higher than all the three stars of India. He was ranked 24th. Meanwhile, Rohit, Kohli, and Bumrah were positioned 48th, 72nd, and 83rd, respectively, on the coveted list.

Shah became the chairperson of the ICC in December 2024 after serving as the BCCI Secretary for a little above half a decade. At present, Rohit, Kohli, and Bumrah are part of their respective franchises in the 18th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The three were crucial components of India’s T20 World Cup 2024 triumph, whereas the ace batters also formed key parts of the squad that lifted the Champions Trophy 2025.

The ICC Chair has a very hectic schedule ahead of him with a few key global events poised to be hosted across the world, which includes Women’s ODI World Cup, Men’s T20 World Cup, as well as the Men’s ODI World Cup in 2027, to name a few. These events will define the legacy of Shah as the contributor to international cricket.
