The Indian team have produced quite a lot of workhorses since when Indian cricket rose to prominence at the global stage, but hardly any matching the unwavering resoluteness as well as the diligent temperament of the leader of the pack of the bowling attack of the Indian team, Jasprit Bumrah.

In a recent video going viral across the digital media, Bumrah was captured answering a clichéd question asked by the host of an event which was related to who according to Bumrah was the fittest cricketer at that point in time in the Indian team in a rather unorthodox manner, which would have definitely stunned the lady as well as the crowd at the social gathering.

Bumrah responded to the question with a rather bold but light-hearted demeanour, with him tagging himself as someone he thought was the fittest going around due to the simple fact of him being a pacer in hot and humid conditions presented in India.

I’ll always promote fast bowlers: Bumrah

“Who’s the fittest of all in the Indian team?,” asked the co-host.

“See, I know the answer you are looking for. I’d like to say my name because I’m a fast bowler. I’ve been playing for a while. Being a fast bowler and playing in this country, the heat takes a lot of requirements, so I’ll always promote fast bowlers and I’ll always take a fast bowler’s name,” replied a grinning Bumrah in a video that has gone viral on social media.
