Over the years, former India cricketers Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan have set brotherhood goals on and off the field. They are currently playing for India Champions at the World Championship of Legends tournament in England.
During the crucial group-stage encounter between India Champions and South Africa Champions, the two brothers were involved in a mix-up while batting together and Irfan had to pay the price. The younger brother was caught short of his crease as Dane Vilas and Dale Steyn combined to inflict a run-out. After being dismissed in the unfortunate manner, Irfan turned back and gave Yusuf a mouthful. The elder brother didn’t hold himself back either as he vented his anger by shouting at Irfan.
The video went viral in minutes as fans were taken aback at the unforeseen turn of events. However, on Friday, July 12, Irfan made light of the incident by sharing a hilarious meme on his social media handles. In the meme, the video of Irfan and Yusuf’s verbal spat in the South Africa encounter was captioned with “Brothers when they are alone”.
Later in the meme, the two brothers were seen hugging each other on the field after the seam-bowling all-rounder kissed the destructive right-handed batter on his forehead. The heart-warming footage had the caption: ”Brothers in front of their parent”. Irfan wrote in the caption: “Brothers, can you relate?”, poking fun at how things commonly transpire between siblings during fights in households.
