IPL 2025 mega auction: TV channels & streaming details for international fans (Source – IPL)
The mega auction for the 2025 Indian Premier League is scheduled to take place on November 24 and November 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Art collector and auctioneer, Mallika Sagar, has been entrusted with the smooth conduction of the grand event. The forthcoming auction will be the second one to be held outside India.
The final IPL auction pool comprises a whopping total of 1,574 players, with 204 slots available for the 10 franchises to fill. Among these, 70 slots are reserved for overseas players. The pool consists of 1165 Indian players and 409 overseas players, including 30 from Associate nations. Notably, there are 320 capped players and 1,224 uncapped players.
The upcoming auction is all set to be a special one with 42-year-old James Anderson being the standout to have registered as the eldest player along with 13-year-old Indian batter, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, being the youngest one.
The mega auction also promises to serve up an interesting proposition with a bunch of Indian and international superstars released by their respective franchises with Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul, Mitchell Starc, and Jos Buttler being a few.
