Ahead of their clash against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), franchise Mumbai Indians (MI) celebrated a significant milestone in their camp. Suryakumar Yadav was honoured with a special jersey by MI legend Kieron Pollard for playing his 100th match for the franchise in the IPL (Indian Premier League).
Suryakumar, who made his debut for MI in 2012, became the eighth player to achieve this feat, joining an elite list of cricketers. Pollard, now a member of the MI support staff, presented Surya with a customised jersey to commemorate the occasion.

He was also part of MI’s title-winning campaigns in 2019 and 2020.
