IPL 2025 Memes: Hilarious Reactions from MI vs RCB, Match 20 at Wankhede Stadium

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) made a roaring comeback to winning ways in some style, outperforming Mumbai Indians (MI) by 12 runs in a thrilling IPL 2025 clash at the Wankhede Stadium. What looked like one point, MI had gotten back into the game, but Krunal Pandya’s brilliant final over crushed those hopes, handing Mumbai their fourth defeat in five games.

The game began with MI opting to bowl first and made a good start by removing Phil Salt early. Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal stitched together a 91-run partnership to stabilize the innings. Kohli’s 67 off 42 played a crucial hand in the total. After Kohli and Liam Livingstone fell to Hardik Pandya in the 15th over, skipper Rajat Patidar took over, scoring 64 off just 32 deliveries. Jitesh Sharma’s unbeaten 40 off 19 helped RCB finish at 221/5. Despite the returning Jasprit Bumrah’s spell (0/29), MI’s bowlers ended on the expensive side. RCB scored at 11.05 an over, with Bumrah alone keeping it tight at 7.25.

Meanwhile, the chase began with Rohit Sharma hitting two fours and a six in his 9-ball 17, but he fell to Yash Dayal. Ryan Rickelton and Will Jacks then showed some intent but couldn’t sustain it. Suryakumar Yadav perished early, falling to Dayal for 28.

At 105/4, MI were again on the brink of a batting collapse. But Hardik Pandya and Tilak Varma, together, added 56 off just 16 balls. Tilak, returning to form, hit 56 off 29, while Hardik went all out with 42 off just 15. Hazlewood’s impressive penultimate over and dismissal of Hardik proved to be the turning point, with 17 needed off the final over. Krunal Pandya is bowling to his former team, picked three wickets in the over, he made sure RCB ended on the winning note.
