IPL 2025, Match 7: Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Lucknow Super Giants Match Preview

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will face each other in the seventh match of the IPL 2025. The match between the two sides will occur in Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad, on March 27 at 7:30 PM (IST). Both sides have had contrasting starts to their campaign in the 18th edition of the league.

In their previous match, SRH claimed a massive win over RR. The 2016 champions posted the second-highest total in the history of the league, thanks to a collective effort from the batting unit. While RR put on a show with the bat by scoring 242 runs, it was not enough, as the Orange Army claimed a massive win of 44 runs, which helped them to top the table.

On the other hand, Lucknow suffered a heartbreaking loss in a thrilling game against Delhi Capitals. Batting first, LSG scored 209 runs on a surface that turned square. Apart from a bit of early swing and grip for the spinners in the middle overs, the surface offers near nothing for the bowlers.

A run fest can be expected given the strength of both batting units. SRH is particularly known for its batting supremacy, whose juggernaut is difficult to stop. Dew might not be a factor at this point in the tournament. However, chasing the total could be a good idea, as wicket could get better to bat on with the progression of the match.
