The Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad will host its final game of the season Rajasthan Royals take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Both sides have made it this far in the campaign on the back of differing fortunes during the league phase matches.
Rajasthan Royals began the season being the most dominant team in the league. Their batting and bowling were at the top with most of their players being in prime form. At one stage in the season, the Royals were the prime favourites to make it to the playoffs as the top-ranked side.
The early surge and momentum of the campaign ended as the Royals lost four games in a row. It didn’t help matters when the game against Kolkata Knight Riders ended in a damp squib due to rain.

Here is the predicted Rajasthan Royals XI for their eliminator match of IPL 2024 against Royal Challengers Bengaluru:
Openers: Yashasvi Jaiswal and Tom Kohler-Cadmore

Yashasvi Jaiswal’s form before IPL 2024 saw him take the England bowlers to the cleaners during the Test series. His form in the early part of the tournament was not impressive. Once Yashasvi Jaiswal found his groove with a 100 against MI he hasn’t looked back since.
Tom Kohler-Cadmore has been slotted into the openers role in place of Jos Buttler who has gone back home. The 29-year-old has played just one game so far but his overall T20 numbers show what a dangerous player he is at the top of the order.
Middle–Order: Sanju Samson, Dhruv Jurel, and Shubham Dubey

Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson will be the man on a mission when he comes out to face RCB in Ahmedabad. The RR skipper has led the side well and has been their top scorer with the bat this season. Samson knows that he can become a hero if he beats RCB and helps his team reach the second playoff and win that and reach the finals of IPL 2024.

One of the biggest factors that RR team management will be fretting about is the batting form of Dhruv Jurel. The blistering blade of Dhruv Jurel has been quiet coupled with the fact that Shubham Dubey has not been fired since he was included in the team.
All-rounders: Riyan Parag, Rovman Powell, and Ravichandran Ashwin

Rajasthan Royals team and Sanju Samson have so far been pleased with the way Riyan Parag has done with the bat. Parag has proved a point to a lot of the critics who had called him out after his poor form during IPL 2023.
Rovman Powell will be a key player for the Royals for his big-hitting skills and he is also more than capable with the ball. Ravichandran Ashwin too has chipped in decent scores with the bat but it is improved bowling form that will delight a lot of RR fans.
Bowlers – Trent Boult, Avesh Khan, and Yuzvendra Chahal

Kiwi pacer Trent Boult knows that he has a huge role to play for the Royals in the final leg of the campaign. The left-arm pacer has already won the IPL previously and will want to use that to his advantage and make sure he can give the RCB batting unit some early jolts.
Avesh Khan’s improved bowling has been a huge cause for the Royals to be one of the most consistent sides. Yuzvendra Chahal who is now back in the Indian team will face up against his former side on Wednesday. Chahal has played a lot with most of the players and this could be a huge factor in deciding the game when the two teams play on Wednesday in Ahmedabad.
