It is the final league match of the Indian Premier League 2024 season and the fans couldn’t have asked for a better finale. Rajasthan Royals will welcome Kolkata Knight Riders to Guwahati as the top two sides battle it out in a bid for supremacy ahead of the playoff stages of the tournament.
One of the biggest questions that will be asked from the Rajasthan Royals is how can they recover their form. The Sanju Samson-led side have lost four games in succession and have seen their batters struggle in the last few matches.
The game on Sunday is not only important for the Royals as far as the IPL 2024’s playoffs are concerned but the form of many players will be closely looked at. Sanju Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Yuzvendra Chahal are in the Indian team for the T20 World Cup with Avesh Khan being named in the reserves. The trio will want to perform well and head into the tournament high on confidence.

Yashasvi Jaiswal has had an up-and-down season so far with the bat for the Rajasthan Royals team. The 22-year-old though will want to have a major say with the bat in the final phase of the season and make sure that he leads his team to the finals and hopefully win the title.
The loss of Jos Buttler has been a huge blow for the Royals as the English white-ball skipper is with his national side. in his place, Tom Kohler-Cadmore will have a huge role in replacing the England star at the top of the order.
Middle-order – Sanju Samson (C), Dhruv Jurel, and Shubham Dubey

Skipper Sanju Samson has been in good form with the bat and has also been impressing everyone with his wicket-keeping skills. The 29-year-old has led the side well and ensured that the Royals become a huge force in the IPL this year.
Youngsters Dhruv Jurel and Shubham Dubey will be one of the key players in the Royals’ middle-order. Dhruv Jurel in particular would have hoped to have a great season but his form during this campaign has been anything but satisfactory.

Hometown hero Riyan Parag will want to give his home fans something special with the bat in hand. The Assam lad has put in impressive numbers with the bat this season and will want to continue in the same vein.
Rovman Powell will look to do his best with his big-hitting and give the Royals the much-needed cushion in the final few matches of the tournament. Ravichandran Ashwin who has been impressive with the ball in the last few matches would have to become the potent force with the ball again.
