Kolkata’s Eden Gardens is one of the most amazing venues for cricket. The home of Kolkata Knight Riders is set to welcome the Mumbai Indians for the 60th game of the Indian Premier League 2024 season.

Shreyas Iyer and his KKR side are one win away from becoming the first team to reach the IPL 2024 playoffs. The two-time IPL champions have peaked at the right time and ticked all the boxes with the bat, ball, and also in the field.

Mumbai Indians on the other hand have nothing to play for as they are out of the reckoning. Hardik Pandya’s team are coming into the game with a win against SRH in the last match.

The first game of IPL hosted by Eden Gardens was during the inaugural season of IPL against the erstwhile Deccan Chargers. Sourav Ganguly and his men won the match by 5 wickets. Mumbai Indians played in Eden Gardens and won the game by 7 wickets after chasing the 138-run target with 7 wickets in hand.
