In the last scheduled match at Lucknow in IPL 2024, Kolkata Knight Riders beat Lucknow Super Giants by a resounding 98-run margin. KKR have now moved to the top of the points table.
LSG won the toss and opted to bowl, and the decision backfired immediately as Phil Salt (32 off 14) set to task straight away. Once Salt departed, Sunil Narine (81 off 39) continued to pile the misery on LSG. But no other KKR batter continued at the pace of their openers until Ramandeep Singh (25* off 6) helped with a late flourish that pushed KKR to 235.
