IPL 2024 Match 19 Stats Review Most centuries in IPL history and other stats from RCB vs RR

In match No. 19 of IPL 2024, Rajasthan Royals secured a very emphatic win over Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Jaipur. Royals have now won four matches out of four and are one of the two unbeaten teams in this year’s IPL so Royal Challengers though, have slumped to a third consecutive loss and have only one win in five matches.

Put into bat, RCB started very strongly, putting up 53/0 in the powerplay but got slowed down by the spinners in the middle. Virat Kohli (113 off 72) and skipper Faf du Plessis (44 off 33) put up 125 for the first wicket, but RCB could put up only 183/3.

RR lost Yashasvi Jaiswal to the second ball of their innings, but Sanju Samson (69 off 42) and Jos Buttler (100 off 58) ensured that despite a very late surge of wickets, Rajasthan Royals never looked like they were out of the chase especially when the pair scored 20 runs off Mayank Dagar’s first over.
