Rajasthan Royals (RR) will take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Eliminator of the IPL 2024 on Wednesday, May 24, at Narendra Modi Stadium, in Ahmedabad. Both teams met each other in the 19th match of the ongoing IPL at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, in Jaipur, where the Rajasthan Royals defeated the Royal Challengers Bengaluru by six wickets.
Speaking about the Royals, The middle-order players were very consistent as both Riyan Parag and Skipper Sanju Samson aggregated 531 and 504 runs, respectively. They both have scored 500+ runs in the ongoing tournament in 12 and 13 Innings and have an average of 59.0 and 56.0 respectively. They also average 50+ in the ongoing tournament, striking at 152.59 and 156.52, respectively. In the bowling department, Yuzvendra Chahal is the leading wicket-taker for Royals who has picked 17 wickets in just 13 Innings with an average of 27.58 and strike Rate of 17.64 and has conceded runs with an economy of just 9.38, also bowling at death. In the bowling department, Yash Dayal is the leading wicket-taker for Challengers who has picked 15 wickets in just 13 Innings with an average of 28.13 and strike Rate of 18.86 and has conceded runs with an economy of just 8.94. He has bowled most of the matches at Chinnaswamy which is always difficult ground for bowlers to bowl. Challengers would also look to beat Royals and make their way to the Qualifier 2.

Speaking about the bowling of Challengers, Glenn Maxwell (4-0-25-1) bowled beautifully in the high-scoring game which helped Challengers to restrict Chennai Super Kings to 191, where they had to restrict CSK under 200 to qualify for playoffs.
