With two points and NRR of 1.000, the Sanju Samson-led side find themselves on the second spot, only below Chennai Super Kings, who’ve got four points. A win in the upcoming clash is likely to enforce no change in RR’s standings, as CSK have much superior run-rate (1.979).
Speaking of Kolkata, Harshit Rana’s superb last over under pressure against SRH sealed a victory for the Shreyas Iyer-led side. With an NRR of 0.200, the two-time champions are fourth on the table. Their points tally, 2, is shared by five more sides, but the position has been affected due to differences in the NRRs.
